I’m sure it’s happened to you before. There in your mailbox is a sweepstakes flyer and you pull it out and give it a good once over. The top is reserved for the biggest prize and as you go down the page the prizes get…lesser is a good term.
There is a number to match and you have a few chances to match it. 9 times out of 10 this flyer makes it directly to the trash bin without a second thought. This time though you keep it and scratch those spaces off thinking: “Odds are I won’t get a matching number anyway.”
Yet this time you do! So you follow the instructions…and it’s confirmed you are a winner. Does it matter that your revealed number is beside the $1,000 prize?!
Of course not. You take it in, do a bit of paperwork, and then they run it on a computer- probably a random number prize generator program…and congratulations!
You’ve won a $2 bill! A $2 bill you can easily loose if you’re not careful.

I’ve known many people who are very religious, know how to find books and stories in the Bible. People who’ve gone to church for perhaps the entirety of their lives, they might even serve in some capacity at their church. They understand great Biblical truths, externally they seem to have all the credentials of being a believer of Jesus Christ.
Sadly enough these people will die seeming to have the credentials, young and old alike, God is the one who knows their start and end date.
At that point, the point of death they can no longer choose true life. They are facing the Judgment they had heard about in Hebrews 9:27…after you live once and die you will face Judgement. This is the same for everyone but, since these were never Born Again, they will be separated from God forever*.
However if you are still alive, able to read this, there’s still time for you to accept the Gospel.
Jesus lived a perfect life and then took everyone’s sins ever upon himself on the cross. He offers the clothe us in His righteousness, and He died for everyone’s sins. He was buried and rose on the 3rd day proving that “It is finished.” And that his sacrifice on our behalf was enough.

Jesus was set apart from before the foundations of the cosmos, as the one and only payment for sin. He is the ONLY Reconciler, the only Propitiation.
God created humans with free will to trust and love Him or reject His provision. Adam and Eve rejected God’s provision and since then every human has been born with a sin nature, spiritually dead.
God wakes everyone up to the fact that they’re spiritually dead, part of this is through the conscience. He makes Himself known through all of the Cosmos (creation), and His Word, He leaves plenty of evidence to examine as former Atheist J. Warner Wallace attests over and over.
Yet he gives us free will to choose what we will do when we follow that evidence to its conclusion.
Accept or reject.

If you have heard and accepted the Good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then you are a winner indeed!
You went from spiritually dead in your trespasses and sins at enmity with God, to spiritually alive and adopted into the family of God and all the riches of the inheritance that comes with!
You can call God, Abba Father, and He sees you through the Righteousness of Jesus Christ as completely perfected forever.
Not only that, but the moment you are Born Again, God places God the Holy Spirit within you as a Guarantee, and down payment until the Day of Redemption!
It’s not something as transitory as a $2 bill, you can’t loose it, the Holy Spirit Seals you and is IN you. God is the one who did it, and He’s the only one who could undo it!
The best part is that you will be with God forever, reconciled through the blood of the perfect , spotless, lamb- Christ Jesus your Lord and Savior.
No asterixes, no misleading pictures, no $2 dollar bills.
Jesus is the only way to the ultimate Jackpot there are no substitutes.
